The first candle has only one button. You slide it to turn it off/on. And if you slide it a little further, the timer gets activated. Generally, it’s a 4-hour cycle by default which is not customizable. So you’ll have to look at the watch and turn it on beforehand.
Upgraded LED candles will have a dedicated timer button. After turning on the candle, you can press the Timer button for hours to set the timer. Normally the timer goes from 4 hours, to 6 hours all the way to an 8-hour setting. You also might need to check your candles manuals for better information as all candles are not the same with the time.
And last but not least, the mighty convenient remote-operated flameless candle. As fun, as they are with the remote and different color options for the LED (Light Emitting Diode), you can also set the timer from it. There will be a dedicated Timer button on the remote. Press it and then proceed with the hour buttons on the remote. There will be 2-16 hours of presets depending on the brand and model you have.
Some remotes might not have the dedicated hour buttons. You’ll find two arrow keys like the volume button on them. And it will work as your hour preset for the Timer. Also, the manual helps a lot.
How do you set the timer on Luminara candles?
Luminara candles use one button for all functions. Simply push forward after turning the candle on further and the timer will activate. You don’t get to set the exact hours. It is set to default by the manufacturer.
How do I set the timer on my Sterno flameless candles?
To set the timer on your Sterno flameless candle, press and hold the green button for 3 seconds to turn it on. Then when the candle is on, press both the buttons on the bottom of the candle until the flame starts to blink. You can set a 1-23 hour timer preset on the Sterno candle. Each blink means 1 hour of time. So the number of hours after you want your candle to turn on, count them and release both buttons. And the timer will be set.
How long is the timer on flameless candles?
Depending on the brand the timer of a flameless candle can range from 1 hour to 23 hours. Some have the general preset of 4 hours or 6 hours. The more advantageous and expensive ones are the most configurable.
